A Dental Service You Can Feel Good About

DDS Office

Why DDS makes a difference

For some people going to the dentists is a source of terror. But DDS Dental is here to assure you that nothing could be further from the truth. We provide the most excellent atmosphere for you to relax in so that you enjoy your visit. Dr Mike Cho (better known as Dr Mike) takes dental care very seriously, but he also considers the comfort of his patients as being a part of their well-being. That’s why each of our treatment rooms has an HD television for watching cable and DVDs. The TVs can also be used to view medical records and x-rays. Using digital interfaces to view records means less paper waste (which is better for the environment) and also allows Dr Mike to use new digital x-ray technology, which reduces patient exposure to radiation. So sit back, relax, say “Ah”, and enjoy some TV. DDS Dental is taking the terror out of dentistry.

A new take on friendly, family focused dentistry

About Dr Mike Cho

Dr. Mike Cho

Dr. Mike Cho

A local Washingtonian, Dr Whan Mike Cho grew up in King County amid a family of four. He attended the University of Puget Sound where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Natural Science Chemistry. He then attended the prestigious dental program at the University of Southern California (USC). Needless to say, Dr Mike is a huge Trojan’s fan. While at the university Dr Mike had the opportunity to create custom fitted mouth guards for USC’s football team, which is pretty cool. But it wasn’t all fun and football at dental school, Dr Mike also spent a good deal of his time following his passion: treating under privileged families in local clinics, county hospitals, and rescue missions with warmth, kindness, and exquisitely practiced dental care.

After 5 years in California Dr Mike returned home, where he settled down in Snohomish County, married his girlfriend of eight years (Hyun-Ji), had a son, and began to lay the foundation for his new take on friendly, family focused dentistry. Since 2012, Dr Mike has traveled, to Costa Rica, China, Peru to provide free dental care to patients of all age groups. Now firmly settled in his practice, Dr Mike enjoy cycling, skiing, crabbing/fishing ,watching USC football games, and being outdoors in the splendid, beautiful Pacific NorthWest we all call home. He also enjoys watching Ethan and Ryan play soccer with Washington Rush Club.

“I believe, that in life, we all have the potential to overcome vast challenges. That by having the right partners through the journey of life, a person can magnify their potential. Through DDS Dental, my staff and I develop lifelong partnerships with our patients so that we can assist them in improving their oral health, their well-being, and brighten their smiles. It only takes one golden smile to know someone’s innermost self. The teeth, not the eyes, are the window to the soul.”

-Dr Mike

There’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all dentistry

Practice means everything

Dr Mike performs each procedure on an individual basis, meeting the needs of a particular patient.“No one cavity is the same”, says Dr Mike, “there’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all dentistry.” Influenced by the practice and ethic of his father (Dr Cho), Dr Mike has proven to be a dedicated craftsman in the field of dentistry, pursuing innovative techniques in modern dentistry through continued education, research and self development. His goal: to help people one smile at a time.
